The way we edit however is an important component for different reasons: if we embed large pictures into a post or page, the first impression can be smashing but it can be at the expense of fast loading pages. There are a few remedies to the loading problems you may encounter. How to assure fast page loading The best solution from a user’s point of view: get a fast internet connection.If I am running the previous post on a 24 MB/s line, it’s a piece of cake. If you live in a country where fast lines are not available, then you are at the mercy of webmasters who load less demanding stuff. Daily Chronicle about Cars by Gene Line Gene Line is a big keyword with over 62,000,000 search returns; Cars Daily Chronicle returns over 10 million and Daily Chronicle over 15,000,000. It's all in line with Gene! Building an online Publication is also building a new Brand, the Brand being the name of the Online News Paper. Using words such as Daily or Chronicle means that we have to compete with established brands, not to speak about the keyword Cars. Mixing it all together to Cars Daily Chronicle does not make life any easier. On the other hand, a new name is always a problem of Semantics when it comes to our expectations about successful Search Engine Marketing. Google may not give the same connotation to our words or to their combination. Cars Daily Chronicle is an expression which is rather clear and we know what we can expect: it's about Cars, it's a publication and it is updated daily with new content. After my little article from yesterday, I was wondering if we were picked up on the keywords so dear to Gene. Social Networks have become the main attraction online for the masses and the shift of traffic in favor of Social Media is easily traceable by consulting Alexa. As a consequence we need to deal with the phenomenon of Social Media and find out how the social media frenzy can profit our purpose as online marketers and business developers. Social Networks constitute pools of people where the savvy marketer enjoys fishing. This means, you throw the hook into the pool to attract contacts out of the Social Network into your own environment, i.e. to your website. From the reactions I got so far, the Seminar has not just been an eye opener, but a huge workshop where participants have built some of the nicest websites I have evercome across on the bases of the new YORGOO Press script developed by Semiomantics. Online Publishing and Editing is as important as traffic. Traffic remains the primary raw material for any success online; but what good is traffic, if your visitor's eye-balls are not glued to the screen to find out what you have to say, to surf your site and to interact with you by leaving comments? Facebook is good for Facebook Sure you can do it all on Facebook or other Social Networks which are brilliant technical formulas and environments to meet people. But in the end of the day, you are producing content to enrich Facebook and to allow Facebook to draw profit from YOUR work by selling advertising slots to THEIR advertisers. Then these ads are associated with YOUR content and Facebook makes the cash! A great idea: you work, they cash in.
