Boruch Rappaport’s Author site has passed the test and looks as great as always. Lower Section Trouble As we had problems with the display of 2 columns in the second lower section, we used a three column layout there and the two column layout in the section just preceding it. Jewish Calender and Dates While sorting out some design issues on the site, I thought it was an appropriate move to display the dates in Hebrew. You can optionally output the Hebrew date in the Latin charset to display: June 24th, 2005 – 17 Sivan 5765. An other option is the spelling of the Jewish month names when using the Latin charset. This can either use the default Ashkenazi pronunciation of Cheshvan & Teves, or the Sefardic pronunciation of Heshvan and Tevet.
