Then, when it became available on the Windows Update, I downloaded it and it messed up my Windows to such an extent that I had to reinstall. IE 9 is supposed to be a great Browser, the first good browser released by Microsoft since 1995. IE 9 My Version Downloading and installing IE 9 from the official upgrade seems to be a problem to many users; that’s why I have saved the official download and made it available to all those who don’t want to run into problems. If you want a IE 9 that works without messing up your Win 7 installation ( I had to reinstall Win 7 finally), grab it from HERE! Just follow the Install instruction from the readme.
