The good news is: it displays perfectly on mobile devices such as the iPhone4: Horizontal: More: Vertical again: These are screenshots from the iPhone 4 which show the quality of the display. All slider functions work perfectly on iPhone, Android and other smart-phones. News Building professional media sliders with SlideDeck pro will be one of the main topics of the Ycademy March Seminar. The favicons show namely in the browser tabs. Nowadays most browsers will also show .gif and .png icons; the .ico format is preferred by Internet Explorer. A quick and easy way to create a Favicon is by using the online tool put at disposal by favicon.com. A better result can be achieved by editing the favicon in Photoshop; however Photoshop does not support the .ICO format in its native version. A plug-in can remedy. Some of the most asked questions deal with the visual representation of products and with the thumbnails. The theme creates product thumbnails automatically irrespective of the image size loaded. Experience teaches however, that the most uniform results are achieved when loading product images in a uniform size. For the purpose of our demo store, I have selected a square format of 512 x 512 pixels. Of course you may load portrait pr landscape shaped images. If all your images have the same proportions (width and height) it is recommended to modify the script to suit the desired proportions. As I had to replace my PC’s motherboard, a new installation of Windows is required since the Chip set of the new hardware was not compatible with the previous installs. The re-install concerns both Win 7 installations on my computer. An urgent Solution – and the serious stuff Just to be quickly back online, I have loaded a Win7 and some communication tools to one of the hard drives. Now the serious stuff will have to be implemented. I am cleaning out my C drive and will install all programs from scratch on a re-formated HD. The good news is: I will end up with a clean and fast computer and I will become aware of may be some new software or new features available, which I will not hesitate to install.
