Zo Nicholas site is hooked to the YORGOO Publishing Network and she contributes to various publications. The effect is evident: the publishing power of the network assures rapid deployment and high visibility of content.

As you saw above, 3 top 10 entries in just a few hours. However the deployment was not over at this stage.

YORGOO Press Important Update

This post concerns Ycademy Pros and users of YORGOO Press and their Publications hosted on YORGOO Press Servers. Due to the complexity of Semiomantics Scripts and since we introduced the direct hooks to social networks in and out, some of the sites experienced a certain number of issues, leading us in certain cases to reset the sites. This concerns namely the sites of Felisa Ryan, Zo Nicholas, Larrie Perkins and Brenda Baker.

A solution is in view and will be implemented this week-end, time permitting.

The Goal

Semiomantics provides the best online publishing system to its users. It’s performance is proven daily and over time. Semiomantics Publishing is technically a complex issue and the sites set up for users and customers allow most anyone to achieve exceptional results, not only on Google Top 10 targets but also on social networks since we added social network publishing elements to the scripts.

There is no way we will cut the power of Semiomantics because of increased need of resources or to make concessions due to script or software incompatibility.

We aim to rewrite parts of Semiomantics scripts and to implement these to the suffering sites in order to get them all back to normal by Sunday Night with even higher capacities and more punch.

Furthermore: YORGOO Press is a concept allowing its users to use at any time the latest technology based on the latest script versions of the WordPress back-bone; the same applies to plug-ins. We want to keep it that way.

The Problem

WordPress has become more complex over time and as well WordPress and Plugin designers squat their scripts with links and features which are not relevant to any vital or essential function. However, with every upgrade we need more resources from our servers to run all the processes which are run automatically in the background for the benefit of script users.

We also notice that some parts of WordPress and some plug-in scripts are using an unjustifiable amount of memory due to bad coding. Updates on WordPress often entail an update of plug-in scripts and plug in updates may create compatibility problems within the mix of scripts used on each site.

Some of the most delicate plugins concerned are Twitter Tools and All in one SEO Pack namely in relation with the Semiomantics specific configuration. Permalink structures, canonical link configuration as well as the bit.ly add on script have caused some of the issues we are facing.

The Solution

There are 3 ways to improve the situation and to plan for future expansion:

1. Semiomantics scripts can be improved to handle more data using less resources (coding)

2. We will need to tweak and hack some of the more delicate plugins and to use our own versions of these modified plugins. (coding)

3. We can increase the memory allowance to each site. (money)

2 Test Sites: Zo Nicholas and Larrie Perkins

We have restored Larrie Perkins and Zo Nicholas sites using a mix of the 3 above mentioned recipes. For the time being they run smoothly. We are working with the data center on reorganization of our servers as we want to allocate 128 MB of memory to all sites and foresee a potential increase to 256MB. You can do the Math: how many sites will we be able to host on 4GB RAM server units …

It boils down to a simple conclusion: new WordPress versions in connection with certain plug-ins require loads of memory which cannot be found on shared hosts. The problem has been observed elsewhere as well and it seems that some hosting companies recommend, not to go beyond WP 2.7.1 on their shared host as memory limits are likely to bring the sites down.

On dedicated hosts, the limit is the total of server memory, the available RAM and this will simply limit the number of sites we are able to host on each server. Increase of capacity can be achieved by clustering more server units, meaning, it’s a question of cost.

Providing YORGOO Press users with the best solution is our highest goal and we do not mind paying the price for it. For this reason, YORGOO Press sites hosted on YORGOO Press Servers remain a privilege for Ycademy Pros and Ycademy Seminar Participants.

Lead Generation Blog by Semiomantics

YN – Lead Generation is one of the main activities of online marketers and there are countless so called squeeze and opt-in pages out there to serve exactly that purpose. The problem is: these squeeze pages are not Google efficient and do not generate traffic per se. For this reason, marketers then promote their lead generation page with yet another page or site or with ads, such as the typical work from home ads on Google.

Lead Generation requires visibility, high visibility. And visibility we get when our site ranks high on Google search returns relative to our targeted keywords. Semiomantics has proven it times and again: it is the most efficient formula to reach high visibility. Conversion is yet another problem: the site must be attractive have good content and for the purpose of lead generation we need an eye catching opt-in without falling into the extreme of being too pushy.

In the past we have tried many formulas, such as the typical opt-in form in the top right corner of the blog, embedded opt-ins in posts and such like.

Looking for more visible opt-in features we have tried the pop-up, which is victim of pop-up blockers but the idea remains interesting. The best replacement for a pop-up is the overlay.

Overlays can be used for most any content. Opt-in forms are just one option. Interesting content are images in large size, media or ads. The overlay can emphasize content or it can deliver content to readers in a highly visible way. The overlay does not require a reloading of the page.

Lead Generation Overlay

The overlay feature we are using on this website has some interesting features which provides measured management of the overlay.The Functions include the choice of the back-ground color of the overlay, the timing (should the overlay be projected to every visitor or should the overlay pop up when the page is loaded or with a delay), the style by allowing to edit css, the layout and content of the pop-up as well as its size and position on the screen (center, top, bottom, right, left, parametrized by x and y distances).

Lead Generation for Networkers and people Working from Home

The combination of a high power website with built in attractive lead generation opt-in functions is ideal for networkers, home business builders or in general, people working from home working with restricted budgets and often with only one man power. It’s the most rational way to profit from organic high visibility on search engines and the attractive doorway to a lead generation pipeline. The overlay can display the opt-in form of a mailing list, such as the auto-responder opt-ins from Cashflowin or other providers. Other ideas: add the YORGOO sign up form or promote Ycademy Seminars, display links to your Social Networks pages, to your profile page on Cashflowin and more.

The Cost of Lead Generation

Experience shows: there is no limit to spending on Lead Generation, nor on Lead Generation Systems. But experience also shows that there are minimum efforts to reach statistically significant results. To reach these bench marks must be the goal of every marketer working on lead generation. “Working from Home” is a typical advertising topic where most advertisers never reach minimum benchmarks and that is how they end up being simple water carriers for uplines and companies they promote, namely in MLM environments.

The daily minimum advertising budget of $5 using Google ads does not provide any statistically significant result and is therefore useless to generate individual results. Below 20 dollars per day on such like keywords, the actual active advertising time on every 24 hour cycle covers only a small fraction of the day and misses out on the largest portion of the day.

The trick used by Networkers is therefore to imply their downlines into team marketing efforts, by letting each team member kick in an insignificant amount into Google Ads which will then end up as a significant cumulative amount profiting the up-line sponsor and leaving the individual contributor out in the rain.

Significant cumulative budgets start somewhere around $50 per day over a significant period of at least a month. This is $1500 per month or $18,000 per year, without counting hosting, auto-responder and other related cost (count for an auto-responder system another $20 per month).
