<p>Over the years we have come across many promising formulas to reach Google Top 10 Positions. Hype Promotion guaranteeing Google Top 10 position on any keyword is sent to your spam box daily and promising, well designed sales pages are even promoted by Google Ads which is in complete contradiction to the products’ claimed merits.</p>
<span id="The_simple_Google_Top_10_Formula"><h3>The simple Google Top 10 Formula</h3></span>
<p>Seriously, nobody can guarantee Google Top 10 positions on any keyword. However there are some clear ways of proceeding to put the best chances on your side of the table. Consider also that Google’s algorithm evolves and the filtering is subject to change. By adopting the following formula you will most likely be successful, very successful.</p>
<span id="Get_a_domain_name_representing_your_keyword."><h3><strong>1. Get a domain name representing your keyword.</strong></h3></span>
<p>For example, keyword.com</p>

<span id="Load_a_website_based_on_a_Search_Engine_Optimized_Script."><h3>2. Load a website based on a Search Engine Optimized Script.</h3></span>
<p>No doubt some sites do better than others and some scripts give you a fair advantage, namely if you are not a SEO expert. Semiomantics scripts, the ones I am using, have been developed to provide to anyone an optimized framework with high publishing power. Our renateschedl.cm has been for as long as it exists on Google number 1 without any content other than a reference to Semiomantics and a basic configuration targeting the irrelevant keyword Fibromyalgia. <p>My point is of purely educational nature: Renate is a dear friend and great marketer. But in a way she also is victim of ‘keyword-theft’, ‘name-theft’ or whatever you want to call a sly form of legal identity theft:</p>
<p>Large networks, such a linked-in, facebook, twitter and others grab your name to get <strong>their</strong> websites on top of Google under your neme keyword. Your site, having less authority than the big boys, falls back and often disappears from the top 10, even if you use your name as domain name. The big boys place their ads along with your name, profile or keyword and make the bucks while you, fooled,Â  have thought that they would help you to promote <strong>your</strong> business.</p>

<p>Observe that ranks 2–5 are monopolized by the big boys, leaving Renate just with the breadcrumbs.</p>

<p>You don’t need to be a genius. But original, interesting content is a plus.</p>

<p>Editing your content in an optimized way needs a little effort and is not as easy as it may seem: experience shows that many a great Author does not appear on Google Top 10 with brilliant content, just because the content is not edited in the best possible way. <span id="Publish_your_Content"><h3>6. Publish your Content</h3></span>
<p>It’s a bit like the Editing job; brilliant content, lousily published will just not make it. The quality of your publishing can be improved largely with a solid site framework, such as Semiomantics frameworks. Personal fine-tuning however will always make the difference. <p>YORGOO Publishing, another Semiomantics based site has reached rank 4 on “How to publish your Newsletter” with just one post, beating 242,000,000 competitors on Google.</p>

<p>Once you have reached your top 10 position, you must maintain it; just continue to publish once in a while, depending on the competition, a post targeting the selected keyword.</p>
<p>A campaign on a keyword is similar to promoting a URL: keep your focus until the goal is reached before you shift to the next keyword. If and when you shift, make sure you have the necessary resources to campaign for the next keyword while maintaining your achievements on the first target.</p>
<span id="Know_your_Priorities"><h3>8. Know your Priorities</h3></span>
<p>Focus on reaching Google Top 10 before you think about web design, graphics, ads and other distractions. If your site can not be found by searchers, no one will ever see your ads or beautiful graphics.</p>
<p>Priority number one is therefore: Reach Google Top 10!</p>
<p>Once you are there, you are interested in offering your visitors a good first impression: create empathy with your site design, look and feel. Aim to offer your visitors quality content and a positive surfing experience.</p>
<p>Only on the third level or priorities I put ads.</p>

<p>Ask yourself this simple question and create a relation between your purpose and your website. Different reasons can motivate you to storm Google: you want high visibility for interested people to find your content. You want to increase the readership to influence the way people think about a topic (opinion leader). You want to occupy space on Google Top 10 to earn money.</p>
<p>Fine, but how do you want to make money?</p>

<p>Let’s not go into keyword analysis and market assessment here; let’s just look at the mechanisms which allow you to make money from your Google Top 10 Position.</p>
<p>When people search Google to find a solution to a problem or question, they will end up on the Top 10 search return page. Your entry shares the benefit of that page with 9 other organic entries, maybe an authority entry as well as with some advertisers who pay for being listed on the right side of the page.</p>
<p>The more people search for your terms (keywords) the more the Google Result page obtains and the more you are likely to harvest your share of that traffic.</p>
<p>Some people will click on your Google entry and end up on your site, respectively on the specific page of your site which has made the race.</p>
<p>Your site has different things to offer to your visitor: Contextual Content, other content, Ads and Gadgets.</p>
<p>By Clicking on your ads or by following related commercial links from within your content, visitors will enter your sales pipeline. Depending on what marketing strategy you use, you may make money from every single click (pay per click programs, such as Google AdSense) or you may direct visitors to a sales page of yours (shop for example) or of a merchant you are an affiliate of. The Third possibility is that visitors click on ads you have been paid for to display by direct advertisers.</p>
<span id="Google_Top_10_Make_Money_strategy_1"><h3>Google Top 10 Make Money strategy 1</h3></span>
<p><strong>Basically it’s your content which will make you earn a Google Top 10 position.</strong></p>
<p>Content is what Google is looking  for; a product review is a good example for strategic content. The content can be directly linked to a sales pipeline from within the post or page, by linking from within your post to your shop or affiliate program where the reviewed product is sold and from where you expect commissions (your shop, Amazon Affiliate Program, and many more).</p>
<p>In this case, the content has 2 functions:</p>
<p>1. It earns your Top 10 position.</p>
<p>2. It links to contextual sales.</p>
<p>This strategy is probably the most rewarding one, since the content (originally that’s what visitors came to your site for) takes the information a step further right to a sales pipeline.</p>
<p>The Problem is: you need to write good content to reach Google  Top 10 and you need to create the necessary empathy with your readers to keep them interested enough to follow your recommended links.</p>
<p>This strategy is compatible with all other strategies and can be used on any site format.</p>
<span id="Google_Top_10_Make_Money_strategy_2"><h3>Google Top 10 Make Money strategy 2</h3></span>
<p>You are a fairly good producer of content, but your skills are not particularly sharp on writing ‘sales pages’.</p>
<p>Here the content transports your site to Google Top 10 but you will not focus on selling straight off your content (text), you may rather want to0 associate ads to your post, within the loop (post).</p>
<p>A contextual ad associated with a post is great stuff and still better than just being able to use the sidebars, headers and footers of your page. Such ads can have the shape of banners, text ads or flash or whatever you like and they can refer to your own products, other people’s products or advertisers, such as Google Ads.</p>
<p>This strategy is brilliant in as much as it can be associated to any content, even authorized syndicated content and it will work. Imagine you get a great product feed from a merchant to your site and you associate automatically relevant ads?</p>

<p><strong>How about headers, footer and sidebars?</strong></p>
<p>These are the most basic places you will find ads on and most webmasters use ads in their framework. Such ads can be contextual, such as Google Ads or they can just be ads promoting products and services of general interest to your readership.</p>
<p>The danger and main mistake you may notice is that people often exaggerate to such an extent that visitors will not look at the parts of your layout where you accumulate ads; in fact many a surfer has developed a reflex to smartly navigate around ads areas on websites.</p>
<p>The quantity of ads is less decisive than the quality, the editing quality! One well placed and edited ad may do much better than 10 ads which scare people away.</p>
<p>The Good News remains: such ads can be completely separated from the content and the extreme strategy would consist in overwriding the visitors original interest in your content with a new interest in what the ad or promo is claiming!</p>
<p>This is an incredibly simple concept allowing people without writing skills to monetize a Top 10 Position.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[WordPress 2.8 Baker released WordPress has just released it’s latest version 2.8 where a bunch of new features are available for the comfort of average WP users. The most important change is in the speed and in the fact that themes can be loaded and easily edited from the dashboard. The name Baker has been added in honor of the trumpeter Chet Baker (not Brenda Baker for once, but I could agree with naming it just for our Brenda). Plugin issues Most plug-ins work well with WP 2.8. We have tested over 100 plug-ins on this site so far. Feedwordpress Problem The Feedwordpress plug-in presents however a serious problem in the interface under Syndication Settings namely for individual links: the tag selector does not work and therefore tags cannot be added properly. Consequences for YORGOO Press, YORGOO Blaster, YORGOO Booster, Semiomantics All recommended plug-ins work with all our scripts except the feedwordpress as mentioned above. If you are not using feedwordpress, you may just upgrade your installation form the dashboard and appreciate the new features. <p>WordPress has just released it’s latest version 2.8 where a bunch of new features are available for the comfort of average WP users. The most important change is in the speed and in the fact that themes can be loaded and easily edited from the dashboard.</p>
<p>The name Baker has been added in honor of the trumpeter Chet Baker (not Brenda Baker for once, but I could agree with naming it just for our Brenda).</p>
<span id="Plugin_issues"><h3>Plugin issues</h3></span>
<p>Most plug-ins work well with WP 2.8. We have tested over 100 plug-ins on <a title="Yorgo Nestoridis web site" href="http://yorgonestoridis.com" target="_blank">this site</a> so far.</p>
<span id="Feedwordpress_Problem"><h3>Feedwordpress Problem</h3></span>
<p>The Feedwordpress plug-in presents however a serious problem in the interface under Syndication Settings namely for individual links: the tag selector does not work and therefore tags cannot be added properly.</p>
<span id="Consequences_for_YORGOO_Press_YORGOO_Blaster_YORGOO_Booster_Semiomantics"><h3>Consequences for YORGOO Press, YORGOO Blaster, YORGOO Booster, Semiomantics</h3></span>
<p>All recommended plug-ins work with all our scripts except the feedwordpress as mentioned above. If you are<strong> not </strong>using feedwordpress, you may just upgrade your installation form the dashboard and appreciate the new features.</p>

<p>We will keep you posted about the fixes. As all scripts work perfectly well on WP 2.7.1, there is no immediate reason to upgrade and if you are using any of the problematic plug-ins, such as feedwordpress, just remain put; we are working on a fix and it’s probable that the feedwordpress developer will come up with a new version shortly.</p>

YORGOO_Blaster Plugin: add your ads as before, by following the instructions; you can load most any code,Â  java scripts such as Amazon, Google Adsense or custom made html code (edit an image with a link in html and paste the code into the ads fields. The HTML code is readable by search Engines!</p>
<p>10. Run your Blaster, check the performance on Google and enjoy.</p>

<p>In view of the above, tonight’s call will be a short one, namely to update you on the work in progress and as the case may be to answer some questions you may have. We will back-up the author blog as well in order to replace the present Thesis based Semiomantics Theme with XO 2011.</p>
<span id="Hosting"><h3>Hosting</h3></span>
<p>Recently we have run into troubles with hosting, namely because of memory issues. We are looking for additional hosting solutions and will build a new server namely for high performance commercial customer accounts who need loads of RAM and speed when using the Semiomantics SEO Booster.</p>
<p>Also, a small number of accounts will be moved during the next 48 hours to new servers, namely yorgoomedia, ceguna, yorgonestoridis.com, hiod.net, photomediastock, vergram, rss syndicate and yorgooblaster. No downtime is expected however the DNS propagation may temporarily result in a bumpy ride here or there.</p>
<span id="Semiomantics_Affiliate_Program"><h3>Semiomantics Affiliate Program</h3></span>
<p>Progress is being made rapidly. The Semiomantics Affiliate Program is installed and configured. We are testing the integration at present. The Program may go into pre-release next week and officially go on air in early December.</p>
<span id="YORGOO"><h3>YORGOO</h3></span>
<p>This is a more difficult issue, however we will pre-launch YORGOO at our December Seminar. Good news for YORGOO pros: there will be an affiliate program there as well, whereas YORGOO and Semiomantics will share one unique affiliate center.</p>

<p>SEO will be a special issue at the Seminar. All participants will use Semiomantics Scripts tuned for aggressive configuration. We will present step by step a recommended configuration for each site on each level.</p>
<span id="The_Author_Blog"><h3>The Author Blog</h3></span>
<p>In most cases, the Author Blog is a Semiomantics XO site with quite a diversified and complex category and tag structure. Authors however tend to specialize on a few main topics (categories) which would constitute the recommended primary categories of the respective newspaper sites.</p>
<span id="The_Newspaper_Site"><h3>The Newspaper Site</h3></span>
<p>In fact each newspaper owner provides a particular mix of topics designed to attract the targeted readership. In the ideal case the mix is function of the main interest of the editor and likely to correspond to the main categories in his author blog.In addition each Newspaper editor may add external authors and their content in function of the requirements of the project. Important: only publish content with the authorization of the external authors and respect copyright notices; all participants agree to allow all the other participants to syndicate content from their networks.</p>
<p>Newspaper sites are built on Semiomantics NewsCast or its successor script. The sites are provided and boosted by YORGOO Press.</p>
<span id="The_Niche_Sites"><h3>The Niche Sites</h3></span>
<p>These sites are traditionally YORGOO Blasters or Boosters. License holders may also use XO or NewsCast scripts for the purpose whereas it is important to take into account the particular editing requirements of these two scripts.</p>
<p>Special Configuration of Blaster or Booster type sites will be demonstrated at the Seminar.</p>
<span id="Pre-requisites"><h3>Pre-requisites</h3></span>
<p>It is of paramount importance that participants prepare their publishing structure before the seminar. This week’s daily calls will help to prepare these structures. Also, we will publish a sample based on my own model and publish it for reference before the seminar.</p>

My goal is to host the two sites on two different hosts and two different IP addresses.</p>

<p><strong>Budget:</strong> My Hosting and domains amount to less than $100 per year for two unlimited cPanel Hosting accounts (yes, I don’t like to use add-on domains for this purpose as they have the same IP address.) and two TLDs.</p>
<p><strong>Projected Income: </strong>there is still limited traffic to that keyword, however it’s specialized and highly targeted, mostly professional traffic. Google Ads could be a solution at least partially, however I would not expect to get quickly to $200 — $300 per month with Adsense. More interesting in a B to B environment are products and services for pros. Also: having registered 2 domains, I will be able to sell one of the two sites installed, configured and visible on Google Top 10 or Top 20 as a going concern and turnkey solution. <span id="The_Most_Powerful_Publishing_Framework"><h3>The Most Powerful Publishing Framework</h3></span>
<p>We have been analyzing the web pages and site rankings of Social Network Publishing specialists and we find that they all have something in common: their effort stops with the delivery TO social networks. We could not find anyone capable of converting social network feeds to Google Top 10 Performance as we demonstrated with semiomantics in our test set-up.</p>
<p>The advantage of Semiomantics is in its publishing framework. Sure there are different versions of it, but Semiomantics packs have all one thing in common: they have a high Google Top 10 performance record, second to none, irrespective of the script you use.</p>

<p><strong>Conclusion</strong></p>
<p>All Semiomantics Frameworks hav the same qualities and features when it comes to performance. Some are just built for niches others for broad publishing across any array of categories.</p>

<p>It’s about clear to all readers here how much I hate to see the big networks flying to Google Top 10 with our content, grabbing thus our due reward for our published content.</p>
<p>Many Webmasters get overrun by the big boys’ networks, be it Twitter, Facebook, MySpace or others likeÂ  Linkedin, Technorati and such like. <p>Basically we feed content to Twitter and other Social Networks and export the returns on our walls to a publishing framework designed for high Top 10 Performance, i.e. a semiomantics Framework based on WordPress.</p>
<p>Step 1: we post to our Blog (yorgonestoridis.com, Author Publisher from Semiomantics)</p>
<p>Step 2: we feed Twitter and other Social Networks</p>
<p>Step 3: we collect the returns on a second Semiomantics Framework (UQ Me from Semiomantics)</p>
<p>Step 4: We check Google under the targeted keyword :-)</p>

<p>To make the process easily visible we used a easy to track keyword with not too much interest:</p>

<p>Step 1: We grabbed a post which has been published earlier on another website (Zoom Ferre and Fouchtra), meaning, we didn’t even go for original content. We tagged the post The Diamond of Sancy Murol Auvergne. The post was posted on <a title="The Diamond of Sancy Murol Auvergne" href="http://decouvertes.zoomterre.com/photo/the-diamond-of-sancy-pres-murol-auvergne" target="_blank">Lapillon</a>.</p>
<p>Step 2: We fed the post from Lapillon to Twitter as well as to YORGOO Press, another Semiomantics site and from there we also feed Twitter.</p>
<p>Step 3: We collect the Twitter return on aÂ  <a title="Social Media Marketing U Q Me" href="http://yorgonestoridis.com/q/tag/social-media-marketing/" target="_blank">U Q Me</a> Script from Semiomantics.</p>

<p>The most interesting result are 1 and 2 above with the U Q Me Script.</p>
<p>To exploit this result, it could be fed into a YORGOO Booster or a YORGOO Blaster where associated with ads it would transport Ads to the top of Google yet in another way.</p>
