<p>Basically the DataBase as well as some files on your server: mainly the index.php or html pages plus the hack adds new pages containing namely iframe injections. <p>Delete the folders wp-admin and wp-includes as well as all the files in the root, preserving wp-config.php after checking it for cleanliness.</p>
<p>Delete in wp-contents the plugins folder preserving eventual customizations of plugins, such as SlideDeck Pro Skins, adelete ll eventual cache or back-up folders, delete in the theme folder all themes except the one you are using. Test your theme for cleanliness.</p>
<p>Now we should have just the config.php file in the root and our theme in the theme folder as well as the clean uploads folder on the host.</p>

<p>From your cPanel, delete your database.</p>

<p>If your site deals with Wellness, Art, News, Sports, Cars and Strip-tease, you address different target keywords. Even if one and the same person can be interested in all your categories, timing will become important:</p>
<p>If your visitor types into Google: Art and he ends up on a site with the look of a Strip-tease place, your first contact may not trigger the desired empathy. <p>Over the years we have come across many promising formulas to reach Google Top 10 Positions. Hype Promotion guaranteeing Google Top 10 position on any keyword is sent to your spam box daily and promising, well designed sales pages are even promoted by Google Ads which is in complete contradiction to the products&#8217; claimed merits.</p>
<span id="The_simple_Google_Top_10_Formula"><h3>The simple Google Top 10 Formula</h3></span>
<p>Seriously, nobody can guarantee Google Top 10 positions on any keyword. However there are some clear ways of proceeding to put the best chances on your side of the table. Consider also that Google&#8217;s algorithm evolves and the filtering is subject to change. By adopting the following formula you will most likely be successful, very successful.</p>
<span id="Get_a_domain_name_representing_your_keyword."><h3><strong>1. Get a domain name representing your keyword.</strong></h3></span>
<p>For example, keyword.com</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t tell me the .com of your keyword has gone; you can always build your keyword into a key-phrase which will work fine. Remember, the closer you are to what people actually type into the search form, the higher your chance of being found.</p>
<p>Example: how-to-change-a-light-bulb.com</p>
<p><strong>Watch out:</strong> don&#8217;t use Brand Names or Trademarks without authorization in your domain name. Google-Top-10.com would be clearly against Google&#8217;s terms as well as it would be sanctioned by law.</p>
<span id="Load_a_website_based_on_a_Search_Engine_Optimized_Script."><h3>2. Load a website based on a Search Engine Optimized Script.</h3></span>
<p>No doubt some sites do better than others and some scripts give you a fair advantage, namely if you are not a SEO expert. Semiomantics scripts, the ones I am using, have been developed to provide to anyone an optimized framework with high publishing power. <p>My point is of purely educational nature: Renate is a dear friend and great marketer. But in a way she also is victim of &#8216;keyword-theft&#8217;, &#8216;name-theft&#8217; or whatever you want to call a sly form of legal identity theft:</p>
<p>Large networks, such a linked-in, facebook, twitter and others grab your name to get <strong>their</strong> websites on top of Google under your neme keyword. Your site, having less authority than the big boys, falls back and often disappears from the top 10, even if you use your name as domain name. The big boys place their ads along with your name, profile or keyword and make the bucks while you, fooled,Â  have thought that they would help you to promote <strong>your</strong> business.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a bit like the Editing job; brilliant content, lousily published will just not make it. <p>Once you have reached your top 10 position, you must maintain it; just continue to publish once in a while, depending on the competition, a post targeting the selected keyword.</p>
<p>A campaign on a keyword is similar to promoting a URL: keep your focus until the goal is reached before you shift to the next keyword. If and when you shift, make sure you have the necessary resources to campaign for the next keyword while maintaining your achievements on the first target.</p>
<span id="Know_your_Priorities"><h3>8. Know your Priorities</h3></span>
<p>Focus on reaching Google Top 10 before you think about web design, graphics, ads and other distractions. If your site can not be found by searchers, no one will ever see your ads or beautiful graphics.</p>
<p>Priority number one is therefore: Reach Google Top 10!</p>
<p>Once you are there, you are interested in offering your visitors a good first impression: create empathy with your site design, look and feel. Aim to offer your visitors quality content and a positive surfing experience.</p>
<p>Only on the third level or priorities I put ads.</p>

Depending on what marketing strategy you use, you may make money from every single click (pay per click programs, such as Google AdSense) or you may direct visitors to a sales page of yours (shop for example) or of a merchant you are an affiliate of. The content can be directly linked to a sales pipeline from within the post or page, by linking from within your post to your shop or affiliate program where the reviewed product is sold and from where you expect commissions (your shop, Amazon Affiliate Program, and many more).</p>
<p>In this case, the content has 2 functions:</p>
<p>1. It earns your Top 10 position.</p>
<p>2. It links to contextual sales.</p>
<p>This strategy is probably the most rewarding one, since the content (originally that&#8217;s what visitors came to your site for) takes the information a step further right to a sales pipeline.</p>
<p>The Problem is: you need to write good content to reach Google  Top 10 and you need to create the necessary empathy with your readers to keep them interested enough to follow your recommended links.</p>
<p>This strategy is compatible with all other strategies and can be used on any site format.</p>

<p>You are a fairly good producer of content, but your skills are not particularly sharp on writing &#8216;sales pages&#8217;.</p>

<p>A contextual ad associated with a post is great stuff and still better than just being able to use the sidebars, headers and footers of your page. <p>We use the YORGOO Publishing publishing model. Associated authors provide content which will beÂ  post edited on the newsletter site. We dispose of different publishing formats: mail recipients can read mail online either in mail format or in post format.</p>
<p>Depending on feed-back received during the test phase we will decide on the final format to use: if we encounter problems sending rich text format containing media, we may just resign to post text providing a link to the online version. In such a case, there is no restriction to the content of the newsletter. Rich text plus media may encounter limits when we hit email filters.</p>
<p>Newsletters can be generated using aÂ  Post Editor or using anÂ  Email Editor.</p>
<span id="Timing"><h3>Timing</h3></span>
<p>The YORGOO daily mail in the past has been a great, however time consuming tool. We will test different formats for daily, weekly and monthly mails. Post summaries could be mailed weekly or monthly, while daily posts could move out as they are edited.</p>
<p>We also may set different timers for YORGOO Pros and YORGOO Standard users.</p>
<p>New subscribers could additionally profit from a built in Get Started Quickly Auto-responder system.</p>
<p>Mails will be sent out in small batches, spreading the mailing over 24 hours.</p>

<p>We will keep you posted about the fixes. As all scripts work perfectly well on WP 2.7.1, there is no immediate reason to upgrade and if you are using any of the problematic plug-ins, such as feedwordpress, just remain put; we are working on a fix and it&#8217;s probable that the feedwordpress developer will come up with a new version shortly.</p>

<p>When there is a WordPress update or a new version, then plug-in developers may need to adjust and that&#8217;s OK. As they are all smart and often self-declared gurus, they should be capable to use their superior skills to provide a tested stable product. Also, it would be helpful to get a clear list of what has changed and a mention about the need for updating. If the site continues to behave well as before without an update, then that should be mentioned in a user-friendly way, understandable by us average bloggers.</p>
<span id="We_want_clean_Plug-ins"><h3>We want clean Plug-ins</h3></span>
<p>TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN</p>
<p>Dear Plugin Developer,</p>
<p>we are fed up with the widely applied &#8220;Screw-the-Free-Plug-in-User-Community&#8221; business Model. I know, you put a lot of work and effort into your product and you are expecting a reward; glory does not feed your kids.</p>
<p>However, I would prefer a clean version, even if I had to pay for it. A version without any irrelevant hyperlinks and distractions, a version without importing your whole web site into my blog dashboard; I hate Alex King for that.</p>
<p>Sure you are learning from the best, Matt himself.</p>
<p>But we also can learn from pay TV and allow people to get an &#8216;advertising free&#8217; version of media.</p>

<p>We have started implementing the main business website at <a title="YORGOO South Africa" href="http://yorgoo.co.za" target="_blank">YORGOO South Africa</a>. The purpose of the site is to serve as a gateway leading to all the other sites related to our South African Business.</p>
<p>As the South Africa project is under construction, we have just built in all the necessary hooks to serve the purpose of the &#8216;umbrella&#8217; site.</p>

<p>The site is named <strong>&#8220;South Africa&#8221;</strong> which is also a primary keyword. The site script is a Semiomantics Business CMS based on WP 2.8 RC1, which we will need to update to the stable release as soon as available.</p>

<p>The main area of the site holds dynamic content related to our above main topics. This content is structured as follows: on top the latest post, then a Choice of Editorials and finally some Quick Messages, a sort of Tweets.</p>
<p>Thumbnail images are associated with posts in the first two sections.</p>

<p>The top right corner contains static content, readable by Search Engine Spiders. It will serve to feature promos or other internal sticky content. This part of the sidebar is only shown on the Home Page.</p>
<p>Above, in the <strong>header</strong>, below the <strong>search box,</strong> there are icons to navigate to internal content as well as to external, related sites.</p>

<p>This sidebar is visible on all pages and contains Login and registration, Shopping Cart and Navigation features.</p>
