The Garden Route Classifieds Directory has been rebuilt to satisfy the highest optimization standards. The site is the advertising arm of Lalakoi Publishing, allowing advertisers to reach high visibility on search engines, namely on Google.
The Design and Purpose
The design of the site is kept simple and functional. Buttons for Action are highly visible and accessible inviting for easy posting.
The site has two purposes:
- It serves as an access portal to the Lalakoi Publishing Network for Advertisers.
- It aggregates ads from around the Garden Route, converts them into highly optimized feed streams and publishes them throughout the extensive Lalakoi Publishing Network.
- It is designed to promote the advertisers’ business, events and websites.
The Garden Route Classifieds Directory
The GRD Classifieds have become a brand name within a very short time. Advertisers are in the center of the action and many a great business from the Garden Route has made it to Google Top 10 subsequent to advertising with GRD.
Of course it’s not all in the website: Hanno Coetzee is well taking care of his customers making sure their message reaches target and ranks on a top spot on Google. An other exceptional advantage for advertisers consists in the fact that the directory is not polluted with Google and other third party ads. At GRD, Customers’ content gets full and undivided attention which is unique in the industry.
Performance
There is not much to say in as much as Google is concerned; we have documented the high visibility in earlier posts. What we never went in to is the YSlow rankings of the site. In spite the fact that the site has a rather complex hidden engine performing for best performance, YSlow rankings are A or in the very high 80es B! For example Home Page and Category Pages rank in the A 90 – 96 range, while individual posts with loads of images, external links and a Google Map are found at B 85 – A 94.
