Win­dows 7 Min­i­mum Requirement

To install Win­dows 7, there are min­i­mum require­ments your machine should ful­fill. Microsoft has released the following:

CPU: 1 GHz+ 32 or 64-Bit proces­sor
RAM: 1 GB for 32-Bit, 2 GB for 64-Bit
GPU: 128 MB DirectX 9, WDDM 1.0 Com­pat­i­ble Video Card
HDD: 15 GB for 32-Bit, 20 GB for 64-Bit

Other:
DVD Drive
DX9 Capa­ble sound card
1024x768 or bet­ter capa­ble screen
Key­board + Mouse
An inter­net con­nec­tion for updates and activation.

    but it also works in 512 ram
    then y u hv writ­ten that the min­i­mum require­ment is 1 gb

    I for one, believe that Win­dows 7 is the next big thing.. Win­dows had released. Frankly, I don’t care if some­one will ditched it — coz all prod­ucts have their glitches, but it doesn’t mean they are worse than the other “pair of shoes”.

    We just would like to con­grat­u­late win­dows 7 for this amaz­ing release. Kudos to the team!
