News Cast by YORGOO

A New Semi­oman­tics Frame­work called YORGOO News Cast is to be released later this week. News Cast is the flag­ship of the Semi­oman­tics News Paper and Mag­a­zine type of pub­li­ca­tion frame­works, includ­ing the Tabloid, the YORGOO Press and now the YORGOO News cast theme.

YORGOO News Cast has a “fold­able” or scal­able News Paper lay­out. The Front Page is built in mod­ules which can be switched on or off with a mouse click to fit the lay­out to the user’s needs.

Fea­tured Video and Image cat­e­gories are brought to the top of the page, as well as the lat­est news head­lines. This gives a quick, infor­ma­tive and yet com­plete overview about the lat­est and most impor­tant hap­pen­ings on the site.

Default images and auto­mated thumb­nails are asso­ci­ated with each post in the dif­fer­ent cat­e­gory fields of the layout.

Page menus above and Cat­e­gory menus below the header make the site acces­si­ble and easy to surf.

Com­pared to YORGOO Press, sin­gle pages and sin­gle posts are eas­ier to read due to improved styling.

Built in Hooks for Flickr allow exter­nal man­age­ment of image streams.

Feeds per Cat­e­gory are auto­mat­i­cally made avail­able to vis­i­tors mak­ing it easy to extract tar­geted feeds from the site.

Adver­tis­ing on the site is sim­i­lar to YORGOO Press: reserved spaces in the lay­out where html code is added as well as wid­gets which can be added to or replace con­tent of con­tent fields in the layout.

Default lan­guage is Eng­lish. A lan­guage file allows to trans­late the theme quickly into any language.

Mul­ti­ple style sheets are built in and can be selected from the dash­board. Cus­tomiza­tion is eas­ily pos­si­ble by edit­ing the CSS files.

YORGOO News­Cast will be added to the Semi­oman­tics Prod­uct Cat­a­log. Pric­ing will be sim­i­lar to YORGOO Press. Site install and sup­port is included in the price.

Licenses will be avail­able for sin­gle site, mul­ti­ple sites and developers.

A total of max­i­mum 20 News Cast Sites will be built.

A launch Promo will be announced shortly for Ycad­emy Pros and YORGOO Pros.
