This is a major event: the Feb­ru­ary Ycad­emy Online Sem­i­nar will focus on Microsoft Office 2007 Enter­prise.

The event will stretch over 2 days: Sat­ur­day, Feb­ru­ary 27 and Sun­day Feb­ru­ary 28, 2010

Start­ing time: 1 pm Lon­don Time (GMT) — clos­ing: about 9 pm; din­ner and cof­fee breaks.

Access: Online, just log in using your browser.

Pre­sen­ta­tion: Yorgo Nestoridis via desk­top shar­ing, audio and video.

Work­shops: Yorgo Nestoridis and Bianca Gubalke

Record­ing: par­tic­i­pants are allowed to record the sem­i­nar, audio and data (desk­top) with the built in record­ing tool for future reference.

Record­ings on DVD: Will be avail­able for ticket-holders. Raw record­ing: $10. Post edited com­mer­cial ver­sion: $448 (a com­plete Live Office Train­ing and Tutorial).

It is an advan­tage if you have your brand­ing ele­ments ready: logo, color scheme, font faces, maybe graph­ics as the case may be.

You also need an image edi­tor: Pho­to­shop, GIMP (free), Web Graph­ics Cre­ator or such like.

All other mate­ri­als, tem­plates, sam­ples and addi­tional scripts will be provided.

Goals

Par­tic­i­pants know the fea­tures of the Office Appli­ca­tions and what they can be used for focus­ing on their own per­sonal and busi­ness pur­poses. Work­shops will serve to elab­o­rate sam­ples and tem­plates for par­tic­i­pants own pur­pose and future use, such as let­ter heads, busi­ness cards, fliers, doc­u­ments such as invoices, receipts, Pow­er­Point Tem­plate, Brochure, Newslet­ter and more for use online and offline.

Pre-Seminar Train­ings

There will be 2 Pre-Seminar Train­ings, on Tues­day Feb­ru­ary 23 and Thurs­day, Feb­ru­ary 25.

Pur­pose: We will make sure your Office Suite is prop­erly installed and ready for use and we will elab­o­rate with par­tic­i­pants per­sonal or busi­ness related brand ele­ments for effi­cient use. This con­cerns Fonts, Graph­ics and Col­ors. Join these calls if you need help with graph­ics as dur­ing the sem­i­nar we will not have the time to dis­cuss brand­ing and to cre­ate graph­ics from scratch.

We will pro­vide sam­ple graphics.

Note:

This unique Sem­i­nar will build with all par­tic­i­pants the Office infra­struc­ture to run a Busi­ness and to make the best use of the com­puter. The Sem­i­nar will be recorded and post-edited for future com­mer­cial­iza­tion at the price of $447 includ­ing 3 hours of per­sonal tutor­ing by an Ycad­emy Pro. This will be the best prod­uct for begin­ners to get quickly started and to imple­ment Microsoft Office for per­sonal or pro­fes­sional use.

    You can learn the ins and outs of using Microsoft Visio tem­plates & shapes to cre­ate an orga­ni­za­tional flow­chart, and get a taste of the data link­ing func­tions of Visio with the Org Chart Wiz­ard. Assign behav­iors to a shape, and add con­nec­tion points to net­work mod­els. Com­mu­ni­cate com­plex infor­ma­tion with new tem­plates and shapes, cre­ate and mod­ify Shape Mas­ters and con­vert an image into a Shape Mas­ter. Exer­cise more con­trol over your charts and graphs with Visio and dis­cover how to cre­ate excit­ing mar­ket­ing templates.
