YORGOO Blaster 2.7.1 Beta needs test­ing. Web­mas­ters who have assisted on Friday’s Web Master’s Train­ing have received the first Beta release of the Theme which needs to be tested.

Here is a sug­ges­tion about how to test the script:

After set-up and con­fig­u­ra­tion as we did on Fri­day, syn­di­cate a known RSS Feed, for exam­ple http://yorgoopublishing.com/feed with the goal to beat YORGOO Pub­lish­ing on quick Google listing.

If you have an own author’s blog, syn­di­cate that one or grab mine here at http://yorgonestoridis.com/feed. For the test it’s impor­tant not to use over-published feeds.

Don’t worry too much about the ads for the time being but check your per­for­mance on Google daily.You will be sur­prised how well you will be doing as the scripts built in are quite aggressive.

Here is another suggestion:

Add this post to your site using the YB271 by using the ShareThis fea­ture at the bot­tom of this post. Select the post func­tion as shown on the screen­shot and Post directly to your Word­Press blog, by enter­ing the URL, admin access login and pass.

The fact to syn­di­cate the same post into dif­fer­ent frame­works will allow us to draw con­clu­sions about the qual­ity of the frame­works as well as about the way their con­fig­u­ra­tion can be optimized.

Bug Report:

We are aware of some bugs which we will have to take care of. Here are two of the most obvi­ous ones:

1 On the main page syn­di­cated arti­cles don’t dis­play pic­tures, just the cap­tion is visible.

2 Below the header on the Cat­e­gory Nav­i­ga­tion bar, the first 4 cat­e­gories show in alpha­bet­i­cal order (all other cat­e­gories are not vis­i­ble there).

3. The footer area deserves fur­ther attention
