YORGOO Blaster YB271 Beta
How to test performance of YB271 Beta
Vouliagmeni, March 15, 2009 – by Yorgo Nestoridis
YORGOO Blaster 2.7.1 Beta needs testing. Webmasters who have assisted on Friday’s Web Master’s Training have received the first Beta release of the Theme which needs to be tested.

Here is a suggestion about how to test the script:
After set-up and configuration as we did on Friday, syndicate a known RSS Feed, for example http://yorgoopublishing.com/feed with the goal to beat YORGOO Publishing on quick Google listing.
If you have an own author’s blog, syndicate that one or grab mine here at http://yorgonestoridis.com/feed. For the test it’s important not to use over-published feeds.
Don’t worry too much about the ads for the time being but check your performance on Google daily. You will be surprised how well you will be doing as the scripts built in are quite aggressive.
Here is another suggestion:
Add this post to your site using the YB271 by using the ShareThis feature at the bottom of this post. Select the post function as shown on the screenshot and Post directly to your WordPress blog, by entering the URL, admin access login and pass.
ShareThis
The fact to syndicate the same post into different frameworks will allow us to draw conclusions about the quality of the frameworks as well as about the way their configuration can be optimized.
Bug Report:
We are aware of some bugs which we will have to take care of. Here are two of the most obvious ones:
1 On the main page syndicated articles don’t display pictures, just the caption is visible.
2 Below the header on the Category Navigation bar, the first 4 categories show in alphabetical order (all other categories are not visible there).
3. The footer area deserves further attention
Please report other bugs you may come across by submitting your comments here below.

I have noticed that when a post is fed into the YB217 blog, tags show as categories. Tags and category seem to be combined.
