Google Top 10 with Web Design
Web design is an interesting, busy and traffic rich keyword. A perfect target to demonstrate Semiomantics Publishing Strategies and Impact. The content of this series of post can be applied to any keyword you want to conquer on Google Top 10 namely if you use Semiomantics scripts and frameworks. You may also join this exercise by following step by step the described implementation of the plan. To team up, please leave a comment on the original post at Yorgo Nestoridis.
The Google Top 10 Goal
The Goal is to reach Google Top 10 under the keyword “Web Design” and related expressions.
As I am writing there are roughly 320,000,000 search returns on Web Design and loads of advertisers.
The Starting Point
I have never been targeting “Web Design” when publishing and therefore I cannot profit from previous authority in the field. On the other hand I can profit from the authority acquired with my other websites, such as Yorgo Nestoridis, YORGOO Publishing and such like.
The Concept
Using the YORGOO Publishing Concept I have two possibilities: either I post from my Author Site at Yorgo Nestoridis and syndicate into a Niche Site or I set up a new Niche Site and feed the stream into the Author Blog from where all my original content is published and publicized.
For the purpose of this exercise I select version 2.
The Web Design Niche Site
The Niche Site will be built on WordPress using the Semiomantics XO Framework. Alternatively the Ycademy or the YORGOO Booster Themes can be used. Thestyles will be adapted as we progress, but we will keep it minimalistic and content focused.
The URL is a sub-domain to Yorgo Nestoridis.
I use recommended Semiomantics Configuration settings for Permalinks, SEO and Super Cache.
Once the site configured, I create the Category Structure as well as the Tag Cloud before posting. A site map can be added using the Google Site Map Plug-in.
More Tomorrow.
