Digital Photography Ycademy 1

April 2010 will be all about Dig­i­tal Pho­tog­ra­phy and Dig­i­tal Photo Edit­ing at Ycademy.

All daily calls this months will deal with mat­ters related to dig­i­tal pho­tog­ra­phy, edit­ing and pub­lish­ing. The topic fits per­fectly into our image edit­ing and pro­cess­ing ses­sions with Pho­to­shop as well as into the Pub­lish­ing work-flow with Semi­oman­tics Frameworks.

While our calls are pub­lic and avail­able to any­one inter­ested, only Sem­i­nar Par­tic­i­pants have access to record­ings as well as the mate­ri­als and tools.

Sem­i­nar Tick­ets are avail­able later today at $65 (look out for Bianca’s mail). We can han­dle max­i­mum of 12 par­tic­i­pants only due to cost and license restric­tions on some of the mate­ri­als used.

This new Ycad­emy Cycle is designed for any­one tak­ing dig­i­tal pho­tos and who would like to improve photo shoot­ing, edit­ing and pub­lish­ing skills.

• Improve the qual­ity of your photographs
• Improve your edit­ing skills
• Improve your pub­lish­ing skills

• Basic and advanced ses­sions about dig­i­tal photography.
• Work­shops to develop an eye for pho­tog­ra­phy and to apply the the­ory dur­ing prac­ti­cal exercises.
• Edit­ing and Post-editing using Pho­to­shop Lightroom.
• Advanced Pub­lish­ing using Semi­oman­tics Frameworks.

We will deal every day with another spe­cific topic lead­ing to a topic related exer­cise and work­shop. Top­ics include: por­traits, land­scapes, macro, night shots, low light pho­tog­ra­phy, peo­ple and party, com­po­si­tion, using flash, water­marks and copy­rights, pub­lish­ing, com­mer­cial­iz­ing and many many more. The daily images will be uploaded to server for discussion.
