Madiblue Photo in leading Magazine

Europe’s lead­ing Mag­a­zine for Motor Boats, the glossy Motor Boat and Yacht­ing has pub­lished my pic­ture shot in the morn­ing after the fire got hold of the 153 ft super yacht Madiblue.

The expe­ri­ence shows, that the inter­net is an inter­est­ing source for the printed press. After my blog post about the Madi­blue fire, the Deputy Edi­tor Stew­art Camp­bell con­tacted me via the blog and while I was absent, Bianca made the nec­es­sary arrange­ments and deliv­ered the requested pho­tos. Team-work!

In the end it’s all about vis­i­bil­ity. Proper tag­ging and care­ful edit­ing and pub­lish­ing using a Semi­oman­tics frame­work increase the chances to be found and to be able to sat­isfy a need with our media or products.

Another great way to draw the atten­tion to Pho­tos and other Media is by pub­lish­ing them to a Stock site which gen­er­ates loads of inter­ested vis­i­tors. The prob­lem there is that very often the com­mis­sion struc­ture kills your ambi­tion, namely if you are new to the site.

For this rea­son we have decided to build our own Stock Media Ven­ture, Photo Media Stock. The start­ing point is the Ycad­emy Online Sem­i­nar which will take place on August 28 — 29, 2010. The ven­ture will be a closed end ven­ture and the pro­mo­tion will be assured through our Semi­oman­tics Net­works which have the high­est impact on Search engines.
