Face­book Pro­file Pic­ture Hack

Cus­tomize your Face­book Pro­file image with a few sim­ple ideas. To set you apart from the crowd you may want to play with the pro­file pic­ture to start with.

Face­book Pro­file Picture

The Face­book Pro­file pic­ture can be as large as 200x600 pix­els. Also the pro­file pic­ture is posi­tioned 52 pix­els north of the gray line.

The above val­ues allow you to blend in to the Face­book tem­plate. You could start your image back­ground with a gra­di­ent start­ing from Light­blue #EFF0F5 to let your image emerge from the Face­book template.

In the above case I have selected a con­trast­ing background.

To profit from the max­i­mum space avail­able, just cre­ate a 200 x 600 pixel pic­ture and load it as your new pro­file picture.

      You can load an ani­mated GIF; the ani­ma­tion will work in the pro­file pic­ture album how­ever the icon dis­play will remain static.
