Google Top 10 Media Strat­egy using Semi­oman­tics XOM

Reach­ing Google Top 10 rank­ing under sig­nif­i­cant key­words assures vis­i­bil­ity and traf­fic. The recently released Semi­oman­tics XO has proven to be the best frame­work for quick index­ing and high listing.

So far test have been con­ducted mainly with writ­ten con­tent. There­fore we have launched a new test series to mea­sure the Google Top 10 per­for­mance of cus­tomized Semi­oman­tics XO scripts in con­nec­tion with media.

Google Top 10 with Semi­oman­tics Media Framework

Semi­oman­tics XO is an extremely flex­i­ble script. The XO release can­di­date pre­sented at the August Ycad­emy Sem­i­nar is just one step from com­ple­tion. Last mod­i­fi­ca­tions concern

- the style sheet where more com­mented vari­ables are added for easy cus­tomiza­tion by any user.

- the seman­tics dic­tio­nary for opti­mized media tagging.

- the on board SEO module.

Our Google Top 10 Strat­egy is imple­mented in the style and the theme scripts as well as in the mod­i­fi­ca­tions brought to the Word­Press back-bone. In fact, the final com­mer­cial release of Semi­oman­tics XO will run with­out any plug-ins for stan­dard web sites.

Why Semi­oman­tics XOM for Google Top 10 Results?

The trend away from writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion to increased use of Media, namely images, video and pod-casts means that we need to be able to draw search engine’s atten­tion to con­tent deliv­ered in for­mats the search engines can not read, such as images, flash or sound tracks.

Semi­oman­tics XOM (for Media) is a cus­tomized XO ver­sion with an add-on mod­ule for advanced inte­grated seman­tic media tag­ging. The pur­pose is to con­quer Google Top 10 on the web search as well as on the image or media search with­out writ­ten con­tent other than the meta content.

The XOM Prototype

For the pur­pose of the XOM devel­op­ment we have set up a new site at Alexan­dra Nestori­dou. The site is indexed and listed on Google. The XO theme has been mod­i­fied to show only images or other media sup­ports on the front page, no writ­ten posts. We have left the post titles, date and author on dis­play for easy surf­ing, how­ever they can eas­ily be removed as well with­out impact on the Google Top 10 performance.

To start with we are using the site as a photo CMS, to expand later to other media.

Google Top 10 Performance

Once the set up fin­ished we will start tar­get­ing key­words of rel­e­vance using Media and Meta Con­tent only. We will keep you posted about the results.
