The Tabloids

Fol­low­ing the release of YORGOO Press dur­ing the March Ycad­emy Sem­i­nar we are prepar­ing the release of TheTabloids.net. The for­mula is sim­i­lar to YORGOO Press, how­ever the site lay­out is smaller and eas­ier to han­dle, requir­ing less con­tent cat­e­gories and design effort.

The Tabloids.net will be con­sti­tuted of a semi­oman­tics tuned WP base and the YORGOO Press News­pa­per lay­out (on YORGOO Press we use the Advanced News­pa­per lay­out). The Tabloids will use only very few plu­g­ins, namely to opti­mize the site for high per­for­mance on Google.

The ben­e­fit of the Tabloids For­mula is obvi­ous: no prob­lems with host­ing, main­te­nance and web mas­ter­ing. No prob­lems with the instal­la­tion of the site and every cus­tomer will be con­nected directly with one of our Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Con­sul­tants to imple­ment the con­cept and to elab­o­rate 5 stan­dard graph­ics for adver­tis­ing and brand­ing. Tabloids are ideal for smaller pub­li­ca­tions, niche pub­li­ca­tions and very tar­geted and spe­cific communication.

We have loaded a sam­ple Tabloid at http://tabloid.yorgoopress.com to give an idea what a basic Tabloid could look like.

The lay­out includes a fea­tured cat­e­gory on top and 4 cat­e­gories on dis­play in the lower part. Our famous photo gallery and the Video gallery from YORGOO Press are included as well. A mix of wid­getized and un-widgetized ads spaces com­plete the content.

A header ban­ner can be added but it’s not nec­es­sary as the two stan­dard head­ers from YORGOO Press are available.

We have decided to release a hosted ver­sion of YORGOO Tabloids because there are many peo­ple who do sim­ply not want to bother with host­ing issues and graphic design. they want the site to be set up in a cus­tomized way and then go and pub­lish and fetch adver­tis­ing bucks.

Tabloids are ideal sites for peo­ple who are active in mul­ti­ple niches and need highly per­form­ing attrac­tive web sites.

The cost: as usual we will be way below stan­dards and bill one time for set up $100 per site and $20per year for host­ing and main­te­nance. The fees include basic cus­tomiza­tion, con­sul­tancy and graph­ics where needed.

Lim­i­ta­tion: there will be a max­i­mum of 50 YORGOO Tabloids built.
