Vouliagmeni New Images

The pur­pose of the below video is to test dif­fer­ent image treat­ments and encod­ing. The pho­tos have been shot on June 23, 2010 at Lake Vou­liag­meni, our sweet-water lake with ther­mal qualities.

Some of the images ren­der well after encod­ing, oth­ers namely where Pho­to­shop styles have been applied are clearly weaker. The full slideshow in avi for­mat came in with over 8,72GB. Com­pres­sion brought the file down to some 3.2 MB (flv in YouTube); the mp4 ver­sion HQ22 is about 20 MB and streams smoothly on a fast connection.

The slides have been mounted on Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 64-bit ver­sion. This award win­ning soft­ware is extremely user-friendly and acces­si­ble to new­bies.
I will do a fur­ther test using Adobe’s Pre­mier Pro before draw­ing final conclusions.
